EEsBuzz: Smokey Eyes for Ur MakeUp Arsenal

Smoldering Smokey Eyes
Another great technique to explore is the exotic smokey eye look. This sexy look was incorporated in many of the latest fashion week runway shows and continues to dominate in the hottest mags editorials. To work this into your everyday routine you should soften the look with lighter base colors coupled with a great accent color to give the finished look a natural flair; try to stay away from mimicking the dramatic runway effect to the T (most of the runway looks are super exaggerated for the artistic value).. So make it your own....The secret to perfecting this technique is in mastering proper blending of your base and accent colors..

TOOLs: Two eyeshadow colors ( a light base and an accent color), neutral shimmer for brow bone, eyeliner, mascara, primer, and makeup brushes

STEP 1- PREP EYE LIDS
create a smooth foundation by prepping the eyelid with a cream concealer or lid smoothie this will give the shadow a flawless texture when applied.

STEP 2-EYESHADOW BASE
apply base color all over lid from lash to crease using a wide brush . Make sure you blend into the crease of the eyelid using your small eyeshadow brush.
STEP 3- ADDING LINER
add liner from inner corner to outer tracing your lash line ( allow the liner to run through the lashes to add definition).
STEP 4- CREASE
take a small amount of your accent color using a small eyeshadow brush and blend blend blend to create a smooth infusion ( blend the shadow up and outward). Blend in the outer corners of lids and work into the crease.
STEP 5- SECOND GLANCE
softly add the accent color to the lower lash line and blend. with a q-tip, blend the liner to smooth edges for a softer less defined look ( leave as is if you want more distinct detailing).

STEP 6- FINAL TOUCHES
highlight the brow bone with a sheer shimmer neutral  shadow ( champaign, bronze, pearl, gold, nude...etc.). Add a coat of liner to the inner eyelid on the lower rim. Add  the highlight color to your check bone to compliment your overall look. If your final look is real smoldery then your pout should be more refined.
STEP 7- MASCARA
add one to two coats of mascara from base to tip to add a nice pop to the lashes. You can jazz up your mascara with infusing color in stead of sticking with the traditional black mascara.

EEsBuzz: Spider Lashes for Ur MakeUp Arsenal

This season is about expressing bold and exaggerated pops of details coupled with clean accents. One of the looks that'll help keep things fresh and playful is spider lashes. This whimsical detail came about between the late 60's to mid 70's, Twiggy notoriously adorned herself with this look and it became her signature. And now its back and in full effect.

How to Create This Look:
1.Start with one stroke of Ur preferred brand of mascara to give Ur lashes a clean base coat
2.Re-coat Ur brush with more mascara, and apply to lashes from base to mid lash. (leave the tip of ur lash neat and clean.)
3.Repeat step 2 until U have achieved the thickness/clump pattern that best accents Ur overall look. (i.e. if Ur pout stain is bold and vibrant U should add a heavier clump pattern to balance the weight)
